About Pastor Beachum
Demetrius Beachum, a native of Mexia, Texas, is the proud Pastor of Ministry of H.O.P.E. in Marlin (Founded in April 2007) and Temple, Texas (Founded in January 2008). He is married to the lovely Vickie Beachum and has four beautiful children: LaQuesha, Jason, Janetra, and Elijah.
He attended Cameron Chapel Church of God in Christ under the leadership of his father, Pastor J W Beachum and started preaching eight years ago at Jude Tabernacle (Chilton, Texas) under the leadership of the late Supt. L D Benson. He is a graduate of Mexia High School in Mexia, Texas and went on to continue his education at McLennan Community College (Waco, Texas), where he received his A.A. Degree in Commercial Music Performance, and pursued a major in Liberal Arts at both Central Texas College (Killeen, Texas) and Dallas Baptist University (Dallas, Texas). He served as the Band Director for Chilton ISD of ten years and currently serves as Band Director for Hearne ISD.
Pastor Beachum’s main objective is to Win Souls for Kingdom Building thru Healing, Overcoming, Perfecting, and Empowering by Faith. His favorite scripture is Luke 10:2 – Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
